The Not So Ugly Duckling
Retelling of the Ugly Duckling 🐣 –
this story is for kids to understand: it doesn’t matter what the world thinks of them, their inner beauty will shine through.
Our main character breaks the fourth wall and talks to the readers.
Readers will experience activities specially catered to developing language, vocabulary and teaching emotions like empathy.
the author Jade believes that the best things in the world only happen if you live with empathy and an open mind. She lives in an apartment with her mum. And she plans to fortify it with more books (current count is in the 1000s)
voice@play activity books based off Usborne:
The Burglar’s Breakfast (Young Reading: Series One)
The Firebird (Young Reading: Series Two)
